                  Our cultural projects are especially designed to help people to gain a recognised qualification, have more appreciation

                  for their heritage and look for opportunities of employment that will help the regeneration of Stoke-on-Trent.

 


  • Follow the Time Trail - Visit the Famous five Trails and try some of the activities which are related to Stoke-on-Trent and the history of its industry.
  • Historical Documentaries - Bring History of industry to life and record a documentary about your chosen historical topic.

  • Stoke-on-Trent under unemployment attack - A timeline of events which pulls together the history of the Potteries up to 2009.

  • Great old days of success- Very useful! Be a contributor and use your old pictures.

  • The Great Ceramic Industry Ask and find out how it started and what caused its gradual extinction.
  • Historical Clothing - After you have learnt about historical clothing, let's design some new ones.

  • History in Pictograms - Create a story using pictogram drawings to have fun and communicate your learning in History with creative drawings.

 

 

Ways to Volunteer


There are many ways to volunteer depending on how much time you can spare. Full-time, part-time, and evenings 5-8pm. Examples of just some of the ways you can volunteer are:

 

  • Talking to people who want to practice their English with native

              speakers. 

 

  • Setting up a volunteer scheme in a project that looks into heritage,

              history and art.

 

  • Spending time mentoring and befriending a young person or refugee.

 

  •  
    Working outdoors to improve the environment. 

 

  • Working on local community projects and becoming an active

              member of M4TC.
